Horsetail is a plant that is rich in silicone minerals, in a form of a compound called monosilicic acid, making it instant for the body to use. It has been proven through research that silicone helps prevent osteoporosis. For all of these reasons nature has provided horsetail as an excellent remedy for arthritis.

Stinging nettle is loaded with baron, a helpful mineral to help treat arthritis. Baron is able to retain the body’s calcium and helps our body to keep healthy bones and joints. The stinging nettle has sharp spines which contain histamine and formic acid, an irritant chemical that comes out of the plant once it comes in contact with the skin. Usually, when the spines of the stinging nettle touches the skin it can hurt a little, however once the chemical does its work, the original pain decreases.
